Viroi Park is a captivating natural attraction located near the city of Gjirokastra. It can be easily spotted from the Tepelenë-Gjirokastra road, which serves as the entrance to Gjirokastra. Viroi is a remarkable karst water source that experiences considerable changes in water level: it is filled with water during winter and spring yet dries up in summer due to an underground siphon phenomenon where groundwater collects in an unseen reservoir below the source. The actual cave stands 6-8 meters long, 3-4 meters wide, and has a depth of up to 22 meters. The temperature of the water ranges from 13-14 degrees Celsius.
