Between its tow­er­ing Nor­man mason­ry, famed vault­ed ceil­ing and point­ed arch­es, and epic stained glass win­dows, West­min­ster Abbey is an archi­tec­tur­al mar­vel. It’s a trea­sure trove of arte­facts, paint­ings and peo­ple too. The Abbey is home to the shrine of St Edward the Con­fes­sor, the tombs of count­less kings, queens and poets, and it’s been the scene of every Coro­na­tion since 1066.
