Zein-o-Din is one of the thou­sand car­a­vanserais built in the 16th cen­tu­ry at the direc­tion of Shah Abbas on the Great Silk Road. Today it is locat­ed near the mod­ern high­way num­ber 71, con­nect­ing the cities of Yazd and Ker­man. This is one of two tra­di­tion­al car­a­vanserais in Iran that are built in a cir­cle shape. And at the same time not in the city, as was cus­tom­ary, but in the desert. In 2006, the Zein-o-Din car­a­vanserai was restored and restored, for which it received grat­i­tude from UNESCO. Now it is one of the most unusu­al hotels in Iran.
