The Tzolotl canyon, literally splitting the Khunzakh plateau, is considered the main decoration of the Khunzakh region. The total length of the canyon increases from 100 to 1000–1200m. Two waterfalls fall into the canyon, formed by the rivers Tobot (its height reaches 70 meters) and Itlyatlyar (its height reaches one hundred meters). The power and color of the water streams change depending on the season and the weather. They are maximally filled in summer, when glaciers in the mountains melt, and downpours fall in the upper reaches of the rivers.
