The for­mer Sof­i­tel found a new lease of life as an ultra-mod­­ern Pull­man. It is locat­ed in Budapester Straße, a rel­a­tive­ly qui­et upscale street run­ning along the Zool­o­gis­ch­er Garten. some dis­tance away from U‑Bahn or S‑Bahn sta­tions. The hotel is appoint­ed in the beige/brown/ecru theme also found in oth­er Pull­mans in Ger­many.
The rooms fac­ing the zoo offer strik­ing vis­tas, while the ones on the oppo­site side face a wall of an office build­ing across the court­yard. For­tu­nate­ly, there are small lob­bies on every floor with views of the zoo and com­pli­men­ta­ry tea and cof­fee. All rooms offer a full range of mod­ern com­forts, includ­ing the pos­si­bil­i­ty to link your devices to the room’s audio/video sys­tems. There is free min­er­al water in the rooms, but do note that the WiFi incurs extra charges over the room prices.
