The old water tow­er looks so impres­sive that it seems like one of the tow­ers of the Old City that acci­den­tal­ly jumped out of the city walls. In fact, it was built in 1881 for the first city water sup­ply. The neigh­bor­ing hous­es on Tõnis­mä­gi Street are also very nice and date back to the begin­ning of the 20th cen­tu­ry.
