A grandiose mon­u­ment ded­i­cat­ed to the Civ­il War in USSR. The bronze sculp­ture depicts an authen­tic cart-moun­t­ed Max­im gun drawn by a horse, flanked by two Red Army sol­diers in great­coats. The mon­u­ment stands on a gran­ite pedestal, dec­o­rat­ed with reliefs illus­trat­ing the 1918–1920 bat­tles. The mon­u­ment stands on a large mound. The earth for this mound was brought from the sites of Civ­il War bat­tles from all over the Sovi­et Union.
